FROM MENDELSSOHN TO GERSHWIN

Erwin Schulhoff, Pavel Haas, Gideon Klein, Viktor Ullmann and Hans Krasa – composers who as victims of National Socialism did not receive the appropriate appreciation in life. It is the special aim of the string ensemble La Roche Quartett to make their voices heard posthumously. We invite you to rediscover these composers together with La Roche Quartett.
Part of the ensemble’s programme are also composers who left their marks on the music of the Broadway, the musicals and the American classical music of the 20th century, e.g. George Gershwin, John Kander, Irving Berlin, Jerome Kern and Irving Mills.

Church fair in Muehlhausen! On the occasion of this event the former synagogue Muehlhausen opens its door. Interested people can visit the building on Sunday, 4th of September 2022 from 1 pm to 4 pm.
Admission is free.

Opening hours synagogue: 10:30 am – 5:00 pm
Guided tour of the Jewish cemetery: 2 pm, 3 pm and 4 pm
Coffee, home-made cakes and sandwiches
